Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CodeIn Solutions (“we”) processes when you visit codeinsolution.com, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version

• There are no customer accounts on this website, and we never see your payment details.
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
• Our visitor statistics are anonymous and do not store your IP address.
• If you send us a message, we keep it so we can reply.

Purchases on Gumroad

Checkout, payment, receipts and downloads happen on Gumroad. When you buy or download a template, you give your details to Gumroad, and Gumroad's privacy policy applies. As the seller, we receive the order information Gumroad shares with sellers, such as your name, email address and what you bought, and we use it only to support your purchase.

Information we process

Visitor statistics. To understand which pages and templates are useful, we count page views, template views, searches made on this site, and clicks on Buy and Live Preview buttons. For each, we store the page, template or search term, the country (worked out from your IP address at the time of the visit), the website that referred you (domain only) and your device type (desktop, tablet or mobile). To count unique visitors, we store a code made from your IP address, browser and the date that changes every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next. We do not store your IP address or set a cookie for this.

Contact messages. When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, message and IP address. We use them to reply to you and to protect the form from spam and abuse. We may also receive a copy of the message as a private notification in our team chat (Discord).

Server logs. Our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser, page requested and time) to operate and secure the website.

Cookies and similar technology

The public website does not set cookies. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for our own admin area, which visitors never receive. On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile may run a check to confirm you are a person and not a bot; Cloudflare processes the technical information it needs for this under its privacy policy.

Service providers

We rely on a few providers to run this website. Each processes information only for the service it provides:

• Gumroad: checkout, payments, receipts and downloads.
• Our hosting provider: runs the server and database for this website.
• Cloudflare: bot protection on the contact form.
• Discord: private notifications of new contact messages.

Template preview images are loaded through our own server, so viewing them does not send your information to the services that host the original files. Live demos open on our own demo websites.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to help you, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Anonymous statistics are kept to compare trends over time. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, such as a contact message, by writing to us through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. For purchase data held by Gumroad, you can also contact Gumroad directly.

Children

This website is meant for professional and personal use by adults and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about this policy are welcome through the contact page.
